Where Can I Buy Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood DVDs?

I'm new at this, buying DVDs online. I was wondering where the best place to go for buying FMA Brotherhood DVDs, but I have one issue. I want to buy a DVD with the original Japanese audio, but English subtitles. I'm hoping that kind of thing exists. I'm willing to import from Japan if I have to. I found a boxset on Play Asia that fits these requirements, all except that the subtitles are only in Chinese.

Pretty much every anime DVD(except for a few childrens' titles and Crayon Shin Chan) will have the option to watch it in Japanese with English subs. Kim Kardashian In Hairy Situtation; Reality Star Sued For False Advertising On Hair-removal Product

The reality star is being sued by hair-removal product company Radiancy, claiming she's made false and misleading statements for their rival, the hair-removal company TRIA. TRIA is also named in the suit.

According to TheWrap, the suit says Kardashian made false statements about the product during multiple TV appearances and on her Twitter account. For example:

- Kardashian says she uses TRIA over her entire body. TRIA has said the product is not designed for full-body use as it may damage skin.

- Kardashian says using TRIA means "You'll never need razors or shaving cream again." But TRIA's instructions recommend using the product in addition to shaving.

- Kardashian Tweeted in Dec. 2010, she's "loving the results so far," although she'd only been shilling for the firm for a couple weeks. The product isn't designed to deliver results for at least 90 days.

This isn't the first time that Kardashian has faced problems with one of her business dealings. In 2010, she came under fire for the Kardashian Kard, a pre-paid card that carried sizable fees. The product was quickly yanked.

I've been looking for some good modern movies that have good car chase scenes and have a lot of cars. Favorites of mine so far have been some of the Fast and Furious Movies as well as the Transformers movies. Are there any other movies that have good car chase scenes or feature a good amount of cars?

Kim Kardashian - Kim Kardashian Sued Over Hair Removal Endorsement

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is facing legal action over allegations of false advertising for a hair removal product she endorses.

Lawyers for beauty firm Radiant have accused Kardashian of misleading consumers with claims she's made as the celebrity spokesperson for home laser hair removal system Tria.

Bosses have taken exception to the socialite's claims that she uses the gadget all over her body, since Tria allegedly states it is unsafe for sensitive areas such as the face and neck.

In Radiant's lawsuit, Kardashian also comes under fire for allegedly boasting that the product cancels the need for razors or shaving cream, despite its instructions reportedly noting that it should be used in conjunction with shaving.

Radiant executives want Kardashian to stop making the claims and are suing the brunette beauty for unspecified damages.

I have a 14 year old niece, and she's staying with me tonight. She likes movies that make you cry (like Titanic, The Notebook) and also comedy (Adam Sandler) and scary movies.Could you please suggest some movies for us to watch? Nothing innapropriate, though. Well, for stories that make you cry, there is legends if the fall, but its a bit storyline oriented so if you dont mind paying attention to whats going on, there is also a walk to remember, gone with the wind makes me cry though it is a lot of storyline and a very long movie, maybe a bit too much for a 14 year old, dead poets society is another one thats a lot of storyline but very sad, if she likes musicals at all there is the phantom of the opera, rent which is both fun and sad but may be a bit innapropriate (stripper druggies, cross dressers, gay/lesbian, maybe some curse words not sure)...some comedies are ferris buelers day off, bring it on, 10 things i hate about you, the breakfast club, a knights tale and then theres the basics like anchorman, the hangover, date night was pretty funny, you know that kind of stuff, and musicals: hairspray, grease, bye bye birdie...almost any musical made or set in the 50s or 60s, and scary movies...one that made me jump was white noise, my mom always tell me that the shining is scary, the ring isnt too scary up until the end, but it gets to you, paranormal activity isnt scary until the very last scene so i probably wouldnt suggest it

CanIStream.it Shows You Where You Can Stream, Rent, Download Or Buy Movies

Add this site to your bookmarks because I guarantee you, at some point, you're going to need it. CanIStream.it is a new search engine that shows you where you can stream, rent, download and buy movies. The site checks the libraries at Netflix, Amazon, iTunes and Hulu and provides links to the appropriate listings. And if a movie isn't available, you can sign up for CanIStream.it, set a reminder and the service will email you when the movie's availability changes.

The service is a side project from the team at UrbanPixels , a NY-based technology consulting, branding and design firm, who says they built the site because they were in need of something like this. (As were we all).

Thanks to all the competing services, the ever-changing content deals between movie studios and streaming providers and the maddening decision by some studios to enforce a 28-day window between DVD releases and streaming availability, it's hard to know what's available where, in what format and when. But now you can just search CanIStream.it .

There really isn't much to using the service – you just enter a query and hit enter. Each search result has four icons: one for streaming, one for a digital rental, one for downloads and the last for where you can purchase the DVD. Click the link for the service where you want to view or buy the movie and you're redirected there. That's it.

My only complaint? It would be nice if they added TV shows, too.

You might be right. While experts say weight loss can always be reduced to the simple "calories in, calories out" mantra--meaning if you eat fewer calories than you burn, you'll lose weight--a host of oft-hidden saboteurs may be meddling with the balance. Here's a smattering of them:

1. Treating healthy foods as low-calorie foods. "A lot of times they're not consistent," says Scott Kahan, codirector of the George Washington University Weight Management Program in Washington, D.C. So while whole grains, avocados, and nuts might be kind to your heart or cholesterol levels, dieters who binge on such foods can, before they know it, add hundreds of calories to the day's total. Enjoy calorie-rich healthy foods, dietitians urge, but ration them out: a quarter of an avocado on a salad or a small handful of almonds for a snack.

2. Shunning shuteye. Some research has linked shorter sleep duration to a higher body mass index (a measure of body fat) and increased hunger and appetite. Additionally, if you're tired, you might be prone to grab a sugar-laden treat for a midday boost, skip the gym, and have takeout for dinner to avoid cooking. It's a vicious cycle. How To Keep Off The Pounds You've Shed

I’m sure many people found last week’s headlines on weight loss and hormones discouraging. The message: failure to maintain weight loss is due to hormonal changes, not lack of willpower.

According to the study, published last Thursday in the New England Journal of Medicine, such alterations in hormone levels work against you by revving up appetiteand decreasing calorie-burning for at least a year after losing excess weight. A perfect recipe for weight regain.

The findings strongly suggest something health professionals have long been saying: it’s better to prevent weight gain in the first place than try to battle the bulge once the pounds have piled on.

Earlier research has revealed that during calorie restriction and weight loss, hormonal changes occur that slow metabolism and increase hunger. But whether these changes persist is not known. If they do last, it could explain why so many people in weight-loss programs regain most of their lost weight - and sometimes more - within 3 to 5 years.

In last week’s study, researchers from the University of Melbourne set out to answer that question. They enrolled 50 overweight or obese but otherwise healthy adults, whose average weight was 209 pounds, in a 10-week weight-loss program.

The diet was strict - 500 to 550 calories a day using a very low-calorie meal replacement called Optifast supplemented with vegetables.

During weeks 9 and 10, individuals who had lost at least 10 per cent of their weight - the target - were gradually reintroduced to normal foods. (Ultimately, only 34 participants stuck with the study or achieved the required weight loss.)

Weight loss averaged 29 pounds and, as expected, levels of appetite-related hormones changed in such a way as to increase hunger and slow metabolism.

After 10 weeks, successful dieters received one-on-one counselling and written advice from a dietitian on a diet that would allow them to maintain their weight loss. They were also encouraged to get 30 minutes of moderate to intense exercise most days of the week.

During the maintenance phase, participants checked in at the clinic every two months and were contacted by phone between face-to-face visits for ongoing counselling.

Despite the maintenance diet, the subjects gained back roughly half of what they had lost over the next year.

The key finding was that, after one year of maintenance, the levels of six hormones remained altered in a direction that would boost appetite. The dieters also reported feeling hungrier after the 12-month mark than they did at the start of the study.

The researchers speculate this biological urge to eat - a hormonal response triggered by weight loss - has an evolutionary basis. Such a response would have benefited a lean person in times when food was scarce. But in modern times when high-calorie food is accessible 24/7, these compensatory hormonal mechanisms promote weight regain.

So what to do? Abandon your attempt to lose weight thinking it’s futile anyway? In my opinion, that’s not the answer. In my private practice, I have helped many clients lose and successfully maintain their weight loss.

I am not suggesting hormonal changes that increase appetite don’t occur with weight loss. The science says otherwise.

But we don’t know whether following a higher calorie weight-loss diet that’s less restrictive - and one that’s much easier to sustain for the long term - causes the same hormonal changes thought to promote weight regain. It’s missing information that this study team hopes to provide through their ongoing research.

In the meantime, short of developing safe and effective medications that would counteract appetite-related hormones, there are strategies that can increase the odds of long-term weight-loss success.

According to a 2010 study, also published in the New England Journal of Medicine, you stand a better chance of keeping the pounds off for good if you eat a higher-in-protein diet that contains low glycemic-index (GI) carbohydrates.

Meals that include low GI foods are thought to cause changes to hormones and metabolism that can reduce hunger and prevent overeating. Low GI foods include beans, lentils, nuts, pasta, brown rice, sweet potatoes, steel-cut or large flake oats, oat bran, Red River cereal, 100-per-cent bran cereals, yogurt, milk and unflavored soy milk, apples, oranges, peaches, pears and berries.

Protein-rich foods such as lean meat, poultry, fish, eggs, tofu and dairy products delay the rate at which food is emptied from your stomach. In this way, including protein at meals lowers the GI further and keeps you feeling full longer.

But you also need to stay focused on your goal: maintaining your loss. After you’ve hit your weight goal, it’s easy for portion sizes to increase, extra snacks to sneak in and the motivation to work out to wane.

Permanent weight loss requires weighing yourself regularly. The National Weight Control Registry (NWCR), an ongoing U.S.-based study tracking over 5,000 people who have successfully lost significant amounts of weight and kept if off for long periods of time, reported that 75 per cent of participants weigh themselves at least once a week.

Checking in with the bathroom scale allows you to correct small increases in weight quickly. A key to long-term weight maintenance is nipping small weight gains in the bud - before they accumulate.

Regular exercise is important too. Ninety per cent of successful maintainers in the NWCR report getting one hour of scheduled exercise each day, most often brisk walking.

Physical activity burns calories and helps reduce stress, which otherwise might lead to overeating. Regular exercise also boosts self-esteem, a positive feeling that’s linked to making healthy food choices.

You should be eating meats that are packed with Omega-3 amino acids. This is an amino acid that helps in speeding up the metabolism to burn calories faster. You also need to get more creative in creating your diet meals and combining them in a way that makes sure you are getting all the necessary food groups that you need to be eating.

If you are used to eating pastas, then you need to be using whole grain spaghetti, and the same goes if you usually eat white bread because this means you need to start eating whole wheat bread.

What you should be doing is making sure you are eating foods that are high in monounsaturated fats such as walnuts, almonds, avocados and olive oil as well. You need to be eating a lot of vegetables and fruit salads as well due to the fact that they are low in calories and are far more healthier than any other foods you could be eating.

Even when you're on the go in your car and you want to head to McDonald's, instead of opting for their Angus cheeseburger, you should get one of their healthy salads. Just because you need to avoid these fast food places doesn't mean that they don't have healthy options in concern to helping you reach your weight loss goal.

The last thing need to be doing on a "lose weight quickly diet" is you should be making sure you consume a lot of water so that you speed up your metabolism, and instead of water you could also drink black coffee or green tea.

Like water, black coffee and green tea have no calories in them and they help in speeding up metabolism so that you burn both calories and fat fast. Redbox Flexes Its Muscles As It Prepares For More Battles

There was an underlying message in Redbox parent Coinstar's presentation to analysts yesterday following its 3Q earnings report: Warner Bros, Universal, and Fox had better not double the delay period for providing DVDs to Redbox.Despite his easy-going speaking style, CEO Paul Davis firmly indicated that such a strategy - increasing the window for those studios to as much as 60 days from the current 28 –would lead to corporate warfareand probably backfire. It would help Paramount, Sony, and Lionsgate, whichrecently extended their agreements to supply DVDs to Redbox the same day that they're available elsewhere. (Disney also provides discs on opening day to Redbox.) What's more, Redbox execs say that they can buy DVDs from other sources instead of securing them directly from the studios. "The great thing about the United States is that the first-sale doctrine gives you opportunity for workarounds, and we evaluate that … to protect the windows we enjoy today," Davis says.

Coinstar executives say that they want a win-win solution - that studios have something to gain by helping Redbox. The company illustrated that with its new agreement to give Paramount 100,000 Coinstar shares for extending its day-and-date deal, with an option for 100,000 more if the studio takes it two years beyond 2014. They also subtly reminded studios that they'llneed Redbox if they decide to milk DVDs as long as they can while waiting for consumers to warm to cable and Internet VOD services. Coinstar noted that it recently became the leading renter of DVDs in the wake of Netflix's blundering decisionto raise subscription prices by 60% for people who want to to rent discs as well as digital streams.

Coinstar has a lot riding on its ability to defuse the potential new threat: Its shares fell 7% today due in part to the spreading belief that Warner Bros, Universal and Fox might attack kiosk DVD rentals.Their concern is that Redbox's $1-a-night (soon to be $1.20) rentals are too cheap: Why would price-conscious consumers in a tough economy pay several dollars to access a movie from VOD when they can take home attractive movies for less from a kiosk at the local supermarket or drug store? The current 28-day window for Redbox "is simply not long-enough to shift consumers fast enough" to the pricier options, BTIG analyst Rich Greenfield says . But there'llbe no room for compromise if studios decide they have to make consumers pay more to be entertained. Coinstar executives need only look at Reed Hastings at Netflix to see what happens when companies known for delivering value decide to abandon that course.

Why Doesn't The Disney Movie Club Have An Actual Customer Service Number So You Can Speak To A Real Person?

I returned a movie (unopened) to them weeks ago and my account still shows a balance due. I have tried to contact them but there's no actual 'contact us' section on the website to complain, or to ask questions. The phone number listed on the Disney Movie Club monthly notification is an automated system only. Help!!!

Because it's a scam, just google and look around at all the people that have been ripped off.cancel the credit card number they have on file, or you will be charged next month.

Because no one pays to have actual people. It's much cheaper for them and much more frustrating for us to have everything computerized. You'll eventually give up and they won't have labor costs.

I think it is the line for "non touch tone callers" but they don't ask about that.

What Is The Best Diet To Lose Weight Fast?

I am 27 and just over 80kgs and in the past I was 51kgs. In some years, I put on weight due to less physical activities because of tight schedules. I would want to start some diet and lose weight fast without compromising health. I will also get back to exercise. I am deeply low and I feel less confident looking too curvy and round. I heard about some soup diet. Anyone know about it? I would appreciate help. I am from Mauritius. I am very low..:(( Thanks

Eating no sugar makes the body burn any stored fat. Get up half an hour earlier and walk. You'll feel better all day because of it. My wife used to tell me how much I would have to exercise in order to burn off what I was eating. We have to burn 3500 calories in order to lose one pound no matter what foods we eat! Do little spurts of exercise throughout the day if you can't do it all at once. Run in place while you are on the phone or drying your hair; do leg lifts while you are cooking; swing one arm while you are using the other one, etc.

Probably the atkins or keto diet. They both work pretty quickly but not too quickly that it turns unhealthy.

The soup diet is good for weight loss, but you'll hardly be able to exercise while on it because of how weak it makes you, and it get's really boring as well I've been told.

Apple Negotiates With Hollywood Studios To Put Movies On Cloud Servers

PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple is negotiating with Hollywood studios to put movies on cloud servers, which would help users stream those movies on Apple devices such as iPads or iPhones, Reuters said citing media reports.

Representatives of the iPhone and iPad maker have been meeting with studios to finalize deals that would allow consumers to buy movies through iTunes and access them on any Apple device, The Los Angeles Times said quoting sources.

The Wall Street Journal said users could stream the movies on their devices without having to manually transfer them from one device to another.

Apple declined to comment to LA Times and the Wall Street Journal. The company could not immediately be reached for comment by Reuters.
